Dr. Shahin Bahrami

Dr. Shahin Bahrami is an adjunct professor and is the founder of the Elite Institute of Management. He has been a member of the advising panel at Guidepoint since 2008 and joined the Academy of Management in January 2024. Before the Elite Institute of Management, Dr. Bahrami owned the French Tutoring Center.

Dr. Bahrami has extensive business experience and has worked as a manager for many market leaders. He is adept at teaching various business topics at the academic level, including management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

He is passionate about transferring his knowledge to his students. He believes that education has an essential role in cultivating an upbeat workforce to meet the needs of our diverse communities.

Dr. Bahrami strongly believes in awakening students to a sense of purpose and creating a drive toward responsible citizenship.

His credentials include a Doctor of Business Administration from Touro University Worldwide and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.

Dr. Bahrami's doctoral research focused on the need for a better understanding of factors affecting intrinsic motivation in the footwear retail industry in Massachusetts. This study provided industry leaders with a better understanding of job satisfaction elements that influence employees' motivation in brick-and-mortar footwear settings.

His other topics of interest include strategic entrepreneurship, human resource management, global citizenship and consumer behavior, E-commerce and supply chain management, creativity and innovation within organizations, and individual learning process and team convergence.

In his spare time, Dr. Bahrami enjoys playing basketball, participating in outdoor activities, and spending quality time with friends and family.

His philosophy of education is that all students are unique and need a stimulating educational environment where they can meet their full potential. The educator’s role is to guide; students must have choices to let their curiosity direct their learning.

Every classroom has its unique community; Professor Bahrami’s role as an educator is to assist each student in developing their learning style. He presents a curriculum incorporating each learning style and making the content relevant to students’ lives.

Students must learn how to apply the skills they learn in the classroom in their own lives. Professor Bahrami uses interactive and engaging activities to further students’ development whenever possible.
